I’m still alive. I didn’t blow myself up in a chem lab, get buried in snow while visiting family on the east coast or get kidnapped at the Coen Brothers’ new movie screening.
I did however, spend about three weeks traveling, and was super busy before and after. I have lots to post here and hope to get back on track real soon. Look for some updates, new posts, more importing of old posts (still haven’t finished that), writing samples, movie and TV reviews, and all the usual to start cropping up on a regular basis ASAP.
In the meantime, gotta say a great big YEAH BITCH, MAGNETS OH! in honor of Breaking Bad winning some Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards!

It is so good to have you back. I know I’m not alone in saying you’ve been missed as has Breaking Bad. I find myself doing crazy little things like ordering Breaking Bad items, telling strangers about how great it is and why they should watch it if they can, watching award shows & cheering when BB wins. It’s crazy I tell ya, but I’ve never missed a television show so much. I have started tweeting to try to get another of my favorites, The Killing, back for a 4th season. I don’t know if we, the fans, did it but we held several Twitter marathons & Netflix has picked up a Season 4. So it’s good to hear from you and glad you’re OK. It is fun to be writing about BB again. It may be gone, but, no way it will ever be forgotten!

WOW! I am thrilled to hear that Netflix has picked up a Season 4 for The Killing. Does that mean the next season is definitely going to happen? I was so crushed to learn they weren’t getting S4 (esp after how amazing S3 was and how it was left on a cliffhanger) and it was just hard to take in the midst of losing BrBa.
I hear you on missing BrBa. I’m still in a funk over it I think! I watch other shows but am having trouble getting into new (to me) shows. I watched a tiny bit of the marathon on AMC right after Xmas but I mostly want to wait awhile, wait till some of the details have subsided, and then eventually watch the whole series in its entirety.

I know! I learned how to ‘tweet’ when fans of The Killing held Twitter marathons to get both The Killing & Netflix to trend. Apparently our many sessions paid off because Netflix is going to shoot & air 6 episodes. Shooting is going to start within the next few months & will probably air in the summer. Those are pure predictions but it’s what we’ve heard so far. They have even announced some additions to the cast so it is definitely going to happen. I will be keeping up with you & your writing. I think you’re great!
